Penguatan Pemahaman dan Strategi Implementasi Pendidikan Terpadu di Era Digital
Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed educational systems while simultaneously widening the gap between general and religious education, particularly in the domain of value and character formation. This condition highlights the need for an integrated education approach capable of holistically combining academic competence, religious values, and digital utilization. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen policymakers’ understanding of integrated education and formulate initial strategies for its implementation in response to digital-era challenges. The program employed a participatory approach through academic seminars and structured discussions involving academics, graduate students, and regional education stakeholders, conducted in a hybrid format involving 50 participants consisting of 19 offline participants and 31 online participants. The findings indicate an increased participant understanding of the urgency of integrated education as a response to systemic educational disparities, alongside the identification of strategic issues related to regulatory frameworks, human resource readiness, and policy support. The program also generated preliminary recommendations emphasizing the importance of local regulatory support, educator capacity building, and sustained university mentoring. The impact of this engagement is reflected in the emergence of collective awareness among stakeholders regarding integrated education as a relevant and sustainable model for educational development in the digital era.
