Peer Review Policy
JEIST applies a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and academic integrity of published articles.
Each submitted manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial team to determine its suitability with the journal's focus and scope, basic academic quality, originality, and compliance with the submission guidelines.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.
JEIST applies a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process.
Each manuscript is generally reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
-
Relevance to the journal's scope.
-
Originality and novelty.
-
Theoretical foundation.
-
Research methodology.
-
Quality and validity of data.
-
Analysis and interpretation.
-
Clarity of presentation.
-
Contribution to science and education.
-
Quality of references.
-
Ethical considerations.
The possible editorial decisions are:
-
Accept Submission
-
Accept with Minor Revisions
-
Revise and Resubmit/Major Revisions
-
Reject
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor based on reviewers' recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript.
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, objective, confidential, and academically appropriate comments.
