Open Access Policy

The Journal of Educational Innovation in Science and Technology (JEIST) provides immediate open access to all published articles. Full-text articles are available without subscription fees, registration requirements, or embargo periods. This policy is based on the principle that open access to scholarly knowledge supports the exchange of ideas, educational development, research collaboration, and the wider use of research findings.

All articles published by JEIST are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Under this license, users may:

  • read, download, copy, and share published articles;
  • redistribute articles in any medium or format;
  • adapt, transform, or build upon the published material; and
  • use the articles for educational, research, and other non-commercial purposes.

Any reuse of published material must meet the following conditions:

  1. Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the authors, provide the complete citation and original publication source, include a link to the license, and indicate whether changes were made.
  2. NonCommercial: Articles and derivative materials may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the copyright holder.
  3. ShareAlike: Any material adapted, transformed, or developed from an article must be distributed under the same CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
  4. No Additional Restrictions: Users may not impose legal terms or technological measures that prevent others from exercising the rights granted under the license.

Authors retain the copyright to their published articles. By approving publication, authors grant JEIST the right of first publication and authorize the journal to identify itself as the original publisher of the article.

Authors may deposit and share the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published version through institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks. Each deposited or shared version must include the complete citation, a link to the version of record on the JEIST website, and a statement that the article is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

Third-party materials included in an article are covered by the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license only when this is expressly stated. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any third-party material that is not covered by the license.
